Using GharSetu
These terms govern the GharSetu website and mobile app. By using GharSetu, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What GharSetu is
GharSetu is a writing and conversation aid for family relationships. It can help you understand a message, find clearer wording, and — if you save a relationship — become more useful over time. Bridge can help two people create a shared view from approved summaries.
GharSetu is not:
- therapy, counselling, or medical care
- legal, financial, or safety advice
- an emergency service
- a guarantee that a relationship will improve
- a judge of who is right
If you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services. Do not rely on GharSetu in a crisis.
Who may use it
You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for the words you choose to send to another person. GharSetu suggests. You decide.
Your content
You keep whatever rights you have in the text you type or paste. You give GharSetu permission to process that text only to provide the service — for example to show guidance, store relationship memory you choose to keep, or create a Bridge view from summaries you approve.
Do not submit content you do not have the right to use. Do not use GharSetu to threaten, harass, exploit, or impersonate someone, or to break the law.
Accounts
Some features require an account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You may delete your account as described in Delete your GharSetu account.
Free and Plus
A free experience is available, including a first try without signup and limited use after you save a relationship. GharSetu Plus is a paid membership. Current public pricing is shown on the website and may be confirmed in the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase.
Plus may include, while the subscription is active:
- up to 5 Premium relationships
- relationship-specific intelligence and learning
- Teach GharSetu and outcome learning
- Bridge
If one of your Premium relationships includes another GharSetu user, both of you may receive Premium features inside that relationship. Their other relationships remain separate. A person invited into a covered Bridge does not need their own subscription to participate in that Bridge.
Features may change as we improve the product. We will not silently convert Free into a paid requirement for a try you already started.
Subscriptions and billing
Plus is purchased and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, not on this website. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in the way Apple or Google requires.
To cancel, change, or request a refund, use your store account:
- Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or Apple’s subscription help pages
- Google: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
Deleting the GharSetu app or your GharSetu account does not by itself cancel a store subscription. You must cancel it with Apple or Google.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- probe, disrupt, or overload the service
- copy, resell, or scrape GharSetu except as allowed by law
- use the service to create malware or to deceive people at scale
- attempt to recover another person’s private drafts or Bridge vents
We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe is being abused.
Intellectual property
The GharSetu name, logo, and product interface belong to GharSetu. These terms do not give you a right to use our marks except to refer to the product.
The service is provided as available
We work to keep GharSetu available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free suggestions, or that a conversation will go well. Suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. Read them before you send anything.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, GharSetu is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a message you chose to send. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for GharSetu in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹2,999 if you have not paid us. This does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It is part of how you use GharSetu.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If you continue to use GharSetu after an update, you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using the service and delete your account.
